Jessye Finch, Registered Herbalist + Herb Farmer

Jessye lives among the forests of Dufferin County, at Future Spell Farm, with their family, rescue pup, and three horses, surrounded by thousands of plants and diverse wildlife.

Jessye has been enamoured with the natural world for their entire life, and has been committed to healing-based work for over two decades. Whether human, equine, canine, or herbaceous, Jessye has and continues to dedicate their days to supporting individuals on their own journeys of holistic care and connection.

Future Spell was created out of Jessye’s passion for connecting people with new ways of receiving care.

Many alternative modalities are steeped in old-school frameworks that center the practitioner as authority, rather than the client as the primary knowledge keeper about their lived experiences. This also upholds outdated thoughts around historically stigmatized experiences that can continued to harm rather than create pathways to accessible care.

Motivated by both personal and professional experiences, Jessye has dedicated many years of education to working alongside mentors that work within the lineages of community care, social justice, harm reduction, and client-centered care.
